Hi Friends! I'm back with another Moodboard Monday post. Fans of Jane Austen and everything British will love this week's theme: Modern Victorian. Let's dive right in!
Victorian style is a little bit more traditional than I tend to lean, which is why this mood board was both fun and challenging. I am always trying to see things in new ways, so I did modernize this look a little bit. However, it still has all the hints of the classic victorian themes including deep rich hues and textured velvets with tufts, an ornate mantel piece adorned with a crest-shaped mirror, and a gorgeous vintage rug. The decor and lighting keep this space feeling like it belongs in 2022, while the wallpapered ceiling is just good plain fun.
